Created in collaboration with women artisans in South Punjab, Pakistan, Kilim is a wonderful pillow design inspired by the woven patterns associated with Central Asian rugs and textiles. Featuring a versatile geometric stripe rendered in a hooked-needle technique called aar, this unique hand-embroidered accent pillow adds texture, dimension and sophistication to a room. Made of locally produced cotton, this pillow has a hidden zipper closure and includes a feather/down-fill insert. Proceeds from the sale of this item contribute to Ibu Movement, an organization that provides the means and marketplace for women creators around the globe to achieve the dignity and independence of financial stability.
